𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚-𝐭𝐨-𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫.

When I wrote in July about our semantic-first approach at CanvasEight.io, we’d just crossed the 70% mark for accurate, intent-aware code generation from Figma designs.

We’re now at 80%+ and improving weekly, driven by new technology aimed at deeper backend structures and greater interoperability. Semantic translation was only the first layer - the real challenge has been pushing past entropy to execution.

We want anyone to build semantic structured code into production ready code and our core proposition is simple but radical: semantic-first, AI-powered design-to-code conversion - a transformative alternative to no-code tools.

Over the past months, we’ve been building the execution layer: turning generated code into deployable, production-ready modules, wrappers and full application scaffolds.

We have finally achieved a far improved semantic structure in our code generation narrowing design intent and a running product.

And this year’s shift in the AI landscape makes it even more interesting with GPT-OSS open weights - as a symmetry-breaking moment in the cognitive field.
Each local instance can now diverge, with entropy increasing not as disorder but as creative variance

Like spontaneous symmetry breaking in physics, identity emerges from uniformity.

We are witnessing a phase transition from centralised inference to emergent, user-shaped cognition. LLMs are moving from generative tools to a substrate for thought, and ultimately into fertile ground for decentralised, hybrid LLMs - exactly the ecosystem CanvasEight.io is building for.

We’ve been working with early adopters since March focusing on their perspective and feedback on:

  • Building pipelines for React, Next.js, Web Components.

  • Business-logic ready scaffolds with state, accessibility and performance baked in.

  • Hybrid LLM orchestration off-cloud, pairing frontier models with specialised parsers for UI patterns and brand logic.

  • Decentralised execution architecture for multi-agent collaboration in generation and review.

AI is evolving from a unidirectional compiler to an adaptive execution substrate and it’s now becoming part of the infrastructure layer for modern product teams - finally handling most of the implementation so humans can focus on architecture, logic and experience design.

If last year was about understanding intent, this year is about executing it - with tools we can finally own, adapt and evolve into something entirely new.

It truly feels as anything is possible and at reach.
